OOC PERMISSIONS

Player: Flute

Preferred Contact: PM | Plurk

Timezone/Tag Pace: Pacific Standard Time (-8 UTC); Generally available around 3PM-7AM. Tagging pace is 1-3 tags per thread per day, though I absolutely aim for higher. I'm also available for boomeranging.

Backtagging: Open to limited backtagging. If a thread hasn't been tagged back in two weeks, I usually assume it's dropped.

Fourthwalling: Generally okay with it in a limited sense. Not like "I know exactly who you are," but more like "You could be a character in a fighting game!" Feel free to contact me if you're unsure.

Action vs. Prose: Prose preferred, but I'm very flexible about this one. I'll usually match whoever is responding. I do prefer quotation marks used with any full-sized narrative, though. I have a very hard time catching the brackets if all the text is full-sized.

Offensive Subjects & Triggers: Nothing comes to mind at the moment, but I reserve the right to step away from a conversation when necessary.

IC PERMISSIONS

Physical Violence: Very comfortable writing fight scenes. Let me know if you prefer action-by-action tags or more general descriptions. (Ex. "He sidestepped and quickly jabbed out a counter with his left hand." vs. "He fought defensively, only swinging when whenever he saw an opening.")

Mental Information: I'm fine threading with telepath/empath characters. Sol doesn't have much of a mental defense against it. He's a very guarded character, though. Please be mindful that his IC reaction to any intrusion will be threats and violence. It doesn't mean it'd be impossible for any positive CR, though!

Physical Affection: I'm perfectly fine with threads involving physical affection. But be aware that Sol isn't the affectionate type. He would sooner shove someone away than open up to strangers right off the bat.

IC Triggers: Sol hates talking about his past. He will avoid it as much as possible, and if he can't avoid it he'll try to fight someone instead. Permission isn't super necessary, but I would like a heads up if a character is going to approach him about it.

Relationships:

Friendships ♦ Definitely open to developing friendships! Sol is a prickly bastard who would never call someone a friend out loud and doesn't really do much to establish friendships. But he doesn't mind a drinking buddy or two.

Familial ♦ I am suuuuuuuper open to developing familial relationships. Sol makes for such a terrible parent, but people in canon keep entrusting their kids to him and it's ridiculous. I would love to get him to give shitty advice to people in his own caring way.

Romantic ♦ Sol is a difficult one to build romantic relationships with, especially considering his past. I'm open to it, but it's not something that will happen within a few months.

Rivalry/Negative ♦ With Sol's personality, negative relationships are a given. He's an asshole who doesn't tiptoe around people's feelings and he doesn't hide it. I am completely accepting of this and willing to play with the consequences. If you ever feel uncomfortable with his behavior, however, you can absolutely contact me at any time. You can also preemptively opt-out of threading with him here. All comments are screened with respect to player privacy.

POWER-SPECIFIC AND/OR SPOILER PERMISSIONS

Sol is not human, although he looks like one. He has advanced regeneration and strength compared to humans despite both being somewhat nerfed for the game. Other characters are free to pick up on his non-human-ness if they have the ability to do so!
